The Wrestler is about a man who was a huge wrestler in his day 20 years ago, and is now still trying to do it while his age and health problems try to keep him away from the mat.
Mickey Rourke plays Randy "The Ram" Robinson and does a great job, all the acting in the movie i felt was really good. Marissa Tomei(Anger Management...) plays Randy's only friend who happens to be a stripper and yes you get to see her boobs(shes got them nipples peirced). Evan Rachel Wood (Thirteen) plays Randy's daughter.
I thought this movie was really good . The Ram will do anything to keep his wrestling career alive, he is in a small wrestling league where he does not get paid well and also has to work at the local Acme. Living in a trailer and playing Nintendo with the kids in the trailer park, he is the definition of washed up.
The movie is kinda sad at times but also has its funny moments and you are always pulling for Randy to either win the wrestling match or mend his relationship with his daughter or just to be happy and successful.
I give this movie a 9.
